Alter ego game eat as much as you can
The game would have multiple endings based on which criminals got away, which ones didn't, which cases were solved, which ones were not, which defendants survived, whether or not the defendants that Matt was protecting were actually innocent or not, and whether or not Daredevil chose to kill or not.Īfter every case, you have the option as Daredevil to confront the accused criminal. Failure in doing so would cause a case to extend until further proof is found or fail entirely. The player would have to dig into each case relatively thoroughly and protect witnesses and defendants as Daredevil for Matt to use during his cases. The core aspect of the game would be balancing Matt's responsibilities as a lawyer and his role as Daredevil. This would make side missions actually worthwhile because they can have an impact on your main story. There are tons of side cases you can tackle as Matt and those side cases can actually help or harm some of the main cases depending on when and how you do them. The cases seem random at first and are drastically different from one another, however there's an overarching story line that connects the cases together. Each villain has a different set of trials for Matt to solve and each villain has a different combat mechanic for Daredevil to counter. Basically the game would have have anywhere between 10 to 15 cases, each case has anywhere between 3 to 10 trials (depending on the type of criminal and the amount of criminals involved), and each set of 2 or 3 cases has a villain attached to it.

The gameplay for the cases would require you to go out and find evidence, interrogate people, and then the courtroom sequences you would have to defend your clients based off your findings (think LA Noire + Ace Attorney). You play as Matt and you take on client cases as a lawyer. It's an open-world action game with a choice-and-consequence driven story. I think it depends on the hero and how much their alter ego actually plays a role in their identity as a hero.ĭaredevil. I think the Peter/Mary Jane/Miles parts would have been fine if they didn't involve any stealthing at all. OR you could just keep them in cutscenes or puzzle modes. Or maybe opportunities during dialogue might come up like quick time events that would distract the other party and let you naturally slip away. You can choose to be nice and risk dragging the conversation out which gives you a disadvantage when you get to the actual battle or crime scene, or you can be curt and cut them off quick and risk the other party being offended which affects the game in other ways down the line. You're in a conversation with whoever doesn't know your identity and for whatever reason you have to take off and suit up. Like maybe the times where you're an alter ego are more Telltale or Bioware style where you can choose different dialogue. It might be cool if the game put you in situations where you had to actually figure out ways to change stealthily. Click to shrink.This is kind of what came to my mind.
